Food & Beverage Route Delivery Driver

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Food & Beverage Route Delivery Driver to join the growing team at Signature Linen Service. Since 1939, we have proudly partnered with restaurants, hotels, and hospitality clients throughout the DFW Metroplex, providing exceptional service, timely deliveries, and high-quality linen solutions.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our food & beverage customers by ensuring accurate, professional, and on-time deliveries of linen, mats and uniforms while building strong relationships along your route. We are looking for someone who takes pride in customer service, works safely and efficiently, and represents our company with professionalism every day.

Job Overview:

Responsibilities of a Food & Beverage Delivery Driver:

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle throughout assigned routes in the DFW Metroplex
• Deliver and pick up linens, uniforms, mats, and related products for food & beverage and hospitality customers
• Load and unload carts, bags, and products in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure all deliveries and pickups are accurate, complete, and on schedule
• Provide professional, friendly, and responsive customer service at every account
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers along assigned routes
• Communicate service issues, customer concerns, or delivery discrepancies to management promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and equipment
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and safe driving practices
• Complete required paperwork, handheld device entries, and route documentation accurately
• Assist with route coverage and support team operations as needed
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns immediately
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance
• Represent Signature Linen Service with integrity and professionalism at all times

Work Schedule:

Enjoy a 4-day work week schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) with Wednesdays off, offering a consistent mid-week break and better work-life balance.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Eligibility to be cleared by our insurance, Applicant must have a drivers license of at least 3 years of driving history according to our insurance company.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and stepping in and out of delivery vehicles
• Ability to load and unload carts, bags, and linen products at customer locations
• Stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time during route deliveries
• Safely operate a delivery truck (up to a 26 foot box truck w/liftgate) for extended periods, including entering and exiting the vehicle multiple times per stop
• Work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) as routes are completed outdoors and at customer sites
• Perform physical work at a steady, efficient pace to meet daily delivery schedules
• Maintain focus and safe body mechanics to prevent injury while handling repetitive lifting and movement
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance , which means arriving each day well-groomed, in company-provided or approved uniform, and representing Signature Linen Service with a clean, neat, and customer-ready presence at every stop.
