Job Description

Responsibilities Leading or managing all interactions with the client and other stakeholders, demonstrating project control and creating goodwill and client confidence. Establishing annual budgets, price proposals, forecasts, and schedules and monitoring performance against baseline. Coordinating the negotiation of contract modifications and subcontract awards. Developing and managing a staffing plan. Providing leadership for all technical aspects of contract performance (including software development, maintenance, security, hosting and documentation, and the migration of core IT applications to a new grants management platform). Ensuring technical teams understand short‑term and long‑term goals of the program and business efforts by facilitating communication between technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Identifying and mitigating risks to project timelines and scope by developing and recommending corrective actions. Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders. Coordinating activities across the team to ensure seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders. Engagement and oversight of external consultants, vendors and subcontractors. Communicating difficult technical topics to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Reporting program performance, risks and issues to corporate management. Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Experience: 5+ years of related experience in program management with significant software development and administrative components. Technical skills: proven experience managing agile software development projects and knowledge of grants management systems and/or processes. Demonstrated skills in managing complex programs and maintaining communication with remote customers and geographically dispersed staff. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
