Application Consultant (HCM)

The Application Consultant (HCM), an Oracle Cloud subject matter expert, is responsible for providing functional support and application management to the Human Resources team. The Application Consultant will have oversight of all maintenance & support activities (system tuning, user management, security support, configurations); lead & review system software upgrade releases; and complete system enhancement projects.

Responsibilities

• Configure the Oracle Cloud Applications to meet Human Resources (HCM & ORC) requirements and document application set-ups
• Create and maintain business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions
• Conduct maintenance & support activities including: system tuning, user management, security support, and configuration
• Lead and review quarterly software upgrade releases including testing & documenting any related impacts
• Conduct gap analysis between delivered functionality and business requirements recommending solutions
• Develop testing scenarios, test scripts and lead the HR team in unit, integration and acceptance testing for upgrades and implementations
• Complete system enhancement projects
• Develop end-user documentation and training materials
• Present ideas & relay potential problems to leadership team members in business & user-friendly language
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Management or related field preferred
• Oracle HCM Cloud Certifications
• In-depth knowledge and experience with SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience implementing and supporting (R13 preferred) Oracle Cloud HR, Absence Management, Oracle Benefits, Workforce Compensation, Goal Management, Performance, Oracle Cloud Recruiting and Oracle Cloud Time and Labor, Total Compensation Statements, and the Oracle Approval Management Engine
• Working knowledge of HCM extracts, mass data updates/uploads, BIP, Fast Formulas, Oracle Cloud page personalizations
• 5+ years of Oracle HCM or ERP experience in a lead role
• Working knowledge of Oracle OTBI report building
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving/debugging skills
• Superior communications skills and ability to work with a diverse employee group
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Preferably includes: Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
