Title: Junior Art Director / Production | Graphic Artist (Contract-to-Full-Time) We’re looking for a versatile creative who can both conceptualize ideas and execute polished, production-ready work. This is a hands-on hybrid role that blends junior art direction with full production graphic artist responsibilities, including mechanical file preparation. Start as a contractor with the opportunity to grow into a full-time Junior Art Director. Role Responsibilities Conceptualize and roll out creative ideas that effectively communicate strategy and align with client brand guidelines. Design across digital, print, social, OOH, POS, collateral, presentations, and experiential media. Produce production-ready mechanical files: resizing, preflighting, applying bleeds/crops, preparing vendor specs, and ensuring print and digital readiness. Retouch and color-correct images for multiple platforms. Build, resize, and adapt digital creative (e.g., banner ads, social media creative, Google Slides, PPTX, Word). Maintain consistent file and server management: naming conventions, folder organization, and versioning. Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Collaborate with teammates and clients while also working independently. Apply brand and style guidelines consistently across all client work. Stay up-to-date on design trends, digital-first strategies, and emerging technologies. Requirements 2–5+ years agency or fast-paced production/graphic art experience. Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design, integrated work, and high-quality production/graphic outputs. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). Experience with Adobe XD, Premiere, After Effects is a plus. Solid understanding of print production, mechanical files, printer profiles, preflight functions, and file formats (PDF, TIF, EPS, JPG, PNG, GIF). Strong grasp of design principles: layout, typography, color, balance, composition. Detail-oriented, organized, solutions-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities. Collaborative team player who can take direction, accept critiques, and work independently. Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent experience.
