Global Supply Chain Director

Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: Full-time/Perm Client, a semiconductor company headquartered in the heart of California's Silicon Valley, is a leader in purpose-built connectivity solutions for data-centric systems throughout the data center. The company's product portfolio includes system-aware semiconductor integrated circuits, boards, and services to enable robust CXL, PCIe, and Ethernet connectivity. We are seeking a global supply chain leader to be responsible for supply operations for our semiconductor products as well as our hardware solutions including boards and module products. This highly visible and impactful role will manage a team of sourcing, material, and supply managers and is responsible for vendor selection, contract manufacturing agreements, planning, logistics, execution, and full product life cycle from NPI to mass production. This role owns and ensures overall supply execution with respect to negotiations, partner management, schedule, budget, resource allocation, risk management, issue resolution and compliance to internal quality requirements.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Manage supply and inventory to meet revenue plan objectives and assess and communicate revenue plan risks and opportunities to Sales and BU stake holders
• Own supply response to meet forecasted demand, sales orders, and inventory safety stock requirements
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieves sustainable relationships with suppliers
• Understand the trade-offs between cost, volume, and quality in order to strike agreements that meet client's performance criteria and secure long-term supply continuity
• Lead teams, set direction and hold team accountable for meeting objectives and deliverables while delivering on business results

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge in supply chain concepts and algorithms
• Building and managing a team to support BUs, Engineering, Sourcing and Planning teams on supply chain solutions.
• Managing Contract manufacturing background is highly preferred
• 10+ years of related Supply Chain management, systems implementation, supply chain consulting, or equivalent experience driving supply chain transformation.
• Ability to build cross functional relationships with engineering, supply chain, operations and business units
• Support development of complex, multi-year, supply chain strategies and implementation plans.
• Handle global supply chain disruptions in real time and strategically design supply chain with business continuity concept in mind
