Talascend is currently seeking an Electronics Repair Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Charlotte, North Carolina . Overview This role involves working on all aspects of electronic equipment repair, focusing on small electronic assemblies and handheld devices, with a requirement for prior hands‑on experience in similar repair environments. Responsibilities Work on all aspects of electronic device repair, especially handheld repair. Use tweezers and work with very small parts during assembly and repair processes. Identify faulty parts and perform replacements as necessary. Support technical activities related to testing and maintenance of mechanical equipment and components. Order replacement parts as needed to support repair processes. Maintain accurate documentation supporting repair questions and answers, with a focus on qualifications on the resume. Work onsite during first shift. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1 to 2 years of experience in small electronic assembly or related repair work. Experience working with electronic assemblies and handheld devices. Basic computer knowledge. Technical knowledge related to constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment and components. Familiarity with identifying parts for replacement and placing orders. Preferred Qualifications Experience completing an apprenticeship or formal training in electronics repair. Willingness to cross-train in related areas. We thank all applicants for their interest.
