Visit our website to learn more!How will you make a difference? This highly skilled CNC programming role will lead creative and innovative solutions to help with process and programming improvements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create programs and processes while integrating industrial manufacturing methods in our Grove City Diesel Engine plant.What do we want to know about you? High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of Technical ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of experience with Programming and Machine control systemsStrong understanding of 3, 4 axis machining center - 5 axis knowledge a plusExperience with Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Mazatrol controlsAbility to train/mentor other team members through technical communications and / or classroom presentationsIndependently able to complete machine, fixturing and tooling setupsCMM programming experience in PCDMIS and Camio languages, preferred but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in the use of Microsoft OfficeExperience with CAM programming – Mastercam preferred What will your typical day look like? Utilize a strong understanding of G/M Code, Mastercam, 3D design, and inspection software to program and optimize machining centers in the plantProvide guidance and participate in the selection of manufacturing methods for existing and new machining processesCreate and improve programming standard methodsAct as a trainer for machine operators as well as other programmersEvaluate, analyze and/or troubleshoot common machining or process defects, interfacing with machine/tooling vendors as needed.Serve as lead in developing and implementing strategies for targeted equipment improvements, utilizing new and existing tooling and program technologies for both short and long-term solutionsAssist the maintenance and management team in process improvements while demonstrating and driving a culture of continuous improvement What about the physical demands of the job?Exposure to shop floor requires wearing PPE.Walking, climbing, stooping, stooping, bending, lifting is all part of the hands-on learning process. You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. The salary range for this role is between $60,000 - $90,000. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
